1. About FPSHIFT and these terms

FPSHIFT is a Windows gaming companion published by FUTUREFORGE LABS SRL. It helps you review your setup, consider supported optimizations, manage your game library and review recorded changes.

These terms describe the conditions for using the public app and website. Our Privacy notice explains the planned collection of device, activity and install-source information. It is separate from these terms.

No account or subscription is required. All available app optimizations are free to use. Your own internet, Windows and game-related costs remain your responsibility.

2. Who can use the app

FPSHIFT is intended for people aged 16 and over. You must be able to enter into these terms under the law that applies to you. If you are under 18, obtain a parent’s or guardian’s permission where required.

Use the app only on a PC you own or are authorized to manage. Some changes may need Windows administrator permission. Permission to run the app does not give you permission to change someone else’s device.

3. Permission to use FPSHIFT

Subject to the final terms and applicable law, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive permission to install and use FPSHIFT for its intended, lawful purpose. We retain rights in the app, branding and website. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

• Do not use the app to access or modify a device without permission.
• Do not distribute a modified copy as an official FPSHIFT release or use our branding to mislead others.
• Do not use the app to break laws, interfere with services or bypass game security systems.
• Do not copy, redistribute or reverse engineer protected parts except where permission or applicable law allows it.

4. Review changes before applying them

You choose which supported recommendations to apply. Available features depend on the Windows version, hardware, drivers and current configuration of your PC.

Some changes affect system behavior or game preferences. Save your work, review the explanation and keep appropriate backups before changing your setup. FPSHIFT saves original values for supported changes, but this is not a full backup of your PC.

Supported changes can be reviewed through Activity and, where available, restored. Restoration can be affected by other software, later manual changes or hardware and driver updates. A restore option is not a promise that every possible system change can be undone.

If a change does not work as expected, stop making further changes and use Support for help. Do not disable device protections just to make an optimization run.

5. Account-free use and required analytics

You do not need an account. The planned public app will, however, include required product analytics associated with an installation identifier. This can include your PC configuration, first- and last-seen activity, approximate network location and install-source attribution.

Read the Privacy notice for the categories, purposes and planned 90-day inactivity retention. The analytics requirement and its legal basis must be finalized before public collection begins.

Accepting these terms is not consent to analytics. Any consent or choices required by applicable law must be handled separately. These terms do not remove your data-protection rights.

6. Performance and third-party products

Results vary with your hardware, settings, Windows version and games. We do not promise a particular FPS increase, latency reduction, temperature, benchmark score or competitive outcome. Illustrative figures and demo sequences on the website are not measurements from your PC.

Games, launchers, operating systems, graphics drivers and linked websites are provided by their respective owners. Their names or artwork identify those products; they do not imply endorsement of FPSHIFT. You remain responsible for their applicable terms and licenses.

FPSHIFT is not a cheat or an anti-cheat bypass. We cannot guarantee how any particular game, tournament or security product will assess a system configuration.

7. Updates and availability

We may correct issues, change features or publish new versions as Windows, hardware and games evolve. A feature available on one PC or version may not be available on another. We do not promise uninterrupted website availability or support for every configuration.

Use release information and update instructions provided through official FPSHIFT channels. Nothing here requires you to install an update through an untrusted download or to disable a security warning.

8. Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent allowed by law, FPSHIFT is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will meet every expectation or work without errors on every PC. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of the app.

These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or remove mandatory consumer rights, remedies or data-protection rights. They do not excuse fraud, intentional wrongdoing or other conduct for which the law does not permit a limitation.

9. Stopping use

You can stop using FPSHIFT and uninstall it through Windows. If you want to restore a supported change, review the available restore action before uninstalling; removing the app does not necessarily restore changes already applied.

Uninstalling also does not immediately erase analytics already received. The planned inactivity retention and your privacy-request options are explained in the Privacy notice.

10. Law, revisions and contact

These terms are intended to be governed by Romanian law, subject to any mandatory protections and rights that apply where you live. They do not require you to give up a legally protected choice of court or complaint procedure.

We may revise the terms. Material changes will be explained before they apply where required, and the revision date will be updated. If you do not agree with the applicable terms, stop using the app.
